We value feedback and appreciate everyone who takes the time to help us improve our content. Your input is essential for maintaining accuracy and trust. You can contact our editorial team by emailing us at info@factcheck.by.

Please note that while all feedback is reviewed, we may not be able to respond individually to every submission due to resource constraints.

How to Submit a Correction or Complaint

Step 1. Identify the Issue
Locate the article, video, or content that you believe contains an error or misleading information.

Specify the exact part of the content (statement, fact, etc.) you believe is incorrect. Please include the title and publication date if possible.

Step 2. Gather Supporting Evidence
Collect any documents, links, reports, or other materials that support your claim.

Provide a brief explanation of why the information is incorrect, citing the evidence you gathered.

Step 3. Submit Your Request
Fill out our Feedback and Correction Form

or send your request with the following details:

  • Your contact information (name, email address)
  • The title and URL of the content in question
  • A description of the issue
  • Supporting evidence
  • A brief summary explaining the problem

Email your request to info@factcheck.by.

Step 4. Confirmation of Receipt
After submission, you will receive an automatic confirmation that your request has been received.

Step 5. Review Process
Your request will be reviewed by at least two members of our fact-checking team.

This process may include verifying evidence and consulting external sources or experts.

We aim to review all feedback promptly, typically within two weeks.

Step 6. Response
You will receive a response within one week after receiving confirmation of your submission.

Corrections and Updates
Minor Corrections/Updates: For minor updates or added information that does not change the rating of the article, we strive to make corrections within 24 hours. We will clearly note updates within the article and, if appropriate, on our social media channels.

Major Corrections: If a significant change to an article or its verdict is necessary, we will:

  • Clearly mark the correction in the updated article.
  • Conduct an internal review of the editorial process that led to the error.
  • Publish an explanation of the correction and steps to prevent similar issues in the future.

Corrections Log
This is a record of corrections we’ve made – or additional information we’ve provided post-publication – in the last three years.
