On September 1, 2024, the NEWS.BY YouTube channel: news of Belarus and the world aired the program “On the future of education | Elections-2025: what to prepare for? | Why do we need a new info channel? Time of the First”, in which the main participants were: Ivan Eismont, Chairman of the National State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company of the Republic of Belarus, Marat Markov, Minister of Information of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Pertsov, Deputy Head of Administration for Information Work.
The following statements were made in the program:
And we will only promote our Belarusian truth. What to prepare for in 2025? We are ready for any unfriendly manifestations. We cannot even guess what our opponents are planning. We understand perfectly well that they have digital opportunities in their hands, the Internet is theirs, and the largest platforms also belong to them, such as Meta, such as Google, with all their social networks and video hosting sites. But understanding this, we take specific steps and think through some countermeasures to unfriendly and aggressive actions. You see what is happening now with the same YouTube in Russia. You see what pressure is being put on the only seemingly independent Telegram platform by European countries, primarily France. We understand that the Internet will never be so free and so independent again. Therefore, we need to prepare. – In information policy, are you for democracy or for dictatorship? – Oh, no. I have never been for democracy, especially in the sense in which it is imposed on us by the West. Because for them, democracy means that they can do whatever they want, and everyone else should be like nails under a hammer
Our verdict based on the analysis:

- Cause and effect relationships and connections clearly do not exist as claimed.
- When quoting, essential parts are omitted, rearranged, changed or mistranslated from a foreign language, resulting in a fundamentally altered meaning.
- The event occurred in material respects differently than stated.
